We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of classmate, Beverly Diane Duggins (Grubbs), 72, of Advance, NC, who passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Hanes Baptist Church, located at 4210 Sabrina Lake Road in Winston-Salem, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the service at the church. 

She is survived by her husband, Donald (Shorty); three children: Cindy Grubbs Bowden (Chris), Donald Grubbs, Jr., (Cherie), and Angela Grubbs Watkins (Daniel); 10 Grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.She is also survived by a brother, Rick Duggins (Karen) and a sister, Betty Meeks.

Reunion Registration Now Available

We are now accepting registrations for the Class of '69 55th year reunion to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Dazzlinn Event Center located at 612 Edgewood Street on the campus of the Kernersville VFW. 

All the information necessary to successfully register for the reunion may be found by clicking on the "55th Reunion" link located along the left-hand side of the web site Home Page.  Be sure to include your name and the name of any guest you may choose to bring.  The cost to attend the reunion is only $20 per person which includes both the Reception from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and the Buffet Dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m.

If you need lodging in Kernersville, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Kernersville for both September 20 and 21, 2024. The cost is $119 plus tax per room per night. Instructions for reserving a room are included on the registration page.
